When you call the Juvenile Justice Court, listen carefully to the recording. Choose the option for the Clerk's Office.
Since cases with minors are confidential, the Clerk’s Office can’t give you information about a case over the phone. But, they will answer basic questions about what to do over the phone.

- Is there security?
The Juvenile building is safe. There’s a metal detector at the entrance. It is controlled by Deputy Sheriffs. Don’t bring anything that could be a weapon, drugs or “contraband”, like cigarettes and alcohol. When you get through the metal detector, ask the secretary in the waiting room to let you go to the Court or Clerk's Office on the 2nd floor.
- When is the Court and Clerk's Office open?
Juvenile Justice Court is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. It’s closed on holidays. In general, cases begin at 8:30 a.m. in the morning and 1:30 p.m. in the afternoon. The Clerk’s Office is open from 8:30 a.m. to 4p.m. Monday through Friday. It’s closed on holidays.
